A Girls’ Night That Took Us Around the World
An editor from Cake The Mag was invited to dinner at La Table du Music Hall located in SLS Dubai. Here’s their take.
I went to La Table du Music Hall for a girls’ night, and let’s just say dinner and a show has never felt this alive.
From the moment we walked in, the vibe was electric. The space itself is gorgeous, but it’s the energy that sets the tone. The night unfolds in chapters, and you are right there, part of the story. The live performances were genuinely incredible, not just fun in a clap along kind of way, but full of real talent and creativity. Each set was based on a different culture, and it felt like we were travelling. One song you are in Greece, the next you are at Italy, and suddenly the room feels like a scene from a film. And yes, the crowd gets involved. People were singing along, clapping, dancing in their seats. It is impossible not to join in.
As the night went on, the music got louder, the performances got bolder, and the energy in the room really lifted. What starts off as a relaxed, glamorous dinner slowly turns into something closer to a party. And it works. It is the kind of place where you will find yourself on your feet by the end of the night without even realising it.
And then there is the food. Every single dish we ordered felt thoughtfully put together, but also super fresh — you could taste it in everything. Our standout was the burrata. The tomatoes were bursting with flavour, like they had been plucked straight out of a garden that morning. It was simple but perfect. We also shared the grilled striploin, which was rich and juicy and just the right amount of indulgent. The kind of dish you immediately regret offering to split.
By the end of the night, we were full, happy, and kind of amazed at how quickly the evening had flown by. La Table du Music Hall is an experience, a show, and a celebration. If you are looking for a spot that feels a little different and a lot of fun, this one is it. Just do not expect to sit still all night.
