Louis Vuitton’s Express Bag Is Taking Us to First-Class

If there’s one thing Louis Vuitton will always do best, it’s turn movement into magic. For Fall-Winter 2025–2026, Nicolas Ghesquière gives a major nod to classic travel days but still feels relevant to right now. If the name sounds familiar, it should, as "Express" was the original name for the iconic Speedy bag back in the 1930s.

At the heart of it all is Express, the House’s newest signature bag. A fresh addition to the soft-sided family, Express nods to the golden era of travel while feeling entirely grounded in now. If the name rings a bell, that’s because it should — ‘Express’ was actually the original name for the iconic Speedy bag back in the 1930s. Full circle moments, but make it fashion.

The bag’s silhouette channels the Keepall with a more refined, feminine finish. Designed in grained leather and velvet calfskin, it comes complete with signature Monogram touches: the gold padlock, the key bell, jacquard lining, and those unmistakable handles.

The Express has double straps and tons of handle options so you can rock it however you want – over the shoulder, crossbody, on your elbow, or just by hand. Plus, it comes in three sizes and colors that are totally on point: classic Black, earthy Mahogany, creamy Taupe, and that fire Ivory and Olympe Blue two-tone that'll make you stand out.
