Dave Chappelle Returns to Abu Dhabi for One Night

Dave Chappelle is heading back to Abu Dhabi for one night only at Etihad Arena on June 27. Following his sold-out performance during the inaugural Abu Dhabi Comedy Week in 2024, the legendary comedian returns as part of this year’s Abu Dhabi Comedy Season presented by Live Nation Middle East in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, which runs through July 2025.

Known for his sharp wit and fearless take on social and political issues, Chappelle remains one of the most influential voices in comedy. His last appearance in the capital drew over 14,000 fans, setting a record for the region’s largest-ever comedy event.

Chappelle’s career spans more than three decades, beginning with club gigs in Washington, D.C. before breaking into film and television. His landmark Chappelle’s Show turned him into a household name, though his decision to step away from it at its peak highlighted his dedication to creative control. In recent years, a string of Netflix specials and high-profile appearances have further solidified his place at the top of global comedy. His honours include five Emmys, six Grammys, and the prestigious Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.
