Jacob Elordi is the New Face of Bleu de Chanel

Chanel just announced Jacob Elordi as the ambassador for Bleu de Chanel, and it's one of those casting decisions that just makes sense.

Elordi has spent the last few years quietly becoming one of the most interesting actors working right now. He broke through as Nate Jacobs in Euphoria, then did Saltburn, then played Elvis in Sofia Coppola's Priscilla. We’ll never forget him as Noah Flynn in The Kissing Booth or Chris in 2 Hearts. Each role a completely different direction. More recently he starred in the limited series The Narrow Road to the Deep North, Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein, plus Emerald Fennell's Wuthering Heights with Margot Robbie.

The Robbie link is actually what connects this whole thing. She starred in Luca Guadagnino's short film See You at 5 for Chanel's N°5 fragrance in 2024 and Elordi was in it too. That's where Chanel's Head of Global Creative Resources Thomas du Pré de Saint Maur first met him properly, and apparently that was enough. Makes sense when you're casting a face for a fragrance built around a certain kind of quiet confidence, watching someone hold their own on a Guadagnino set is a pretty good audition.

Bleu de Chanel has strong ties to cinema. The filmmakers and actors who have collaborated with the House before me are people I deeply respect and admire. Being able to become part of this story is an honor.
