We’re a Few Days Into Dubai Comedy Week and There’s Still So Much to Come
Dubai’s sense of humour has officially taken centre stage. A few days into Dubai Comedy Festival 2025 and the city’s already buzzing. This year’s lineup is proving to be the funniest (and most international) one yet. Produced by BRAG in partnership with Dubai Calendar, the festival is bringing together some of the biggest names in comedy across six languages, from local legends to global icons.
Running until October 12, the festival has completely taken over Dubai’s best venues — from the elegant Dubai Opera to New Covent Garden at Mall of the Emirates and Coca-Cola Arena — and the energy is contagious. The next few days are stacked with acts that cover every type of comedy imaginable: from Morgan Jay and Joanne McNally to Andrew Schulz, and the return of Mo Amer.
The lineup continues with Paul Taylor’s bilingual chaos, Bin Swelah & Friends bringing Arabic humour to life, and Gaurav Kapoor’s Hindi-language set that’s guaranteed to have the audience in stitches. With performances in English, Arabic, French, Hindi, Russian, and German, Dubai Comedy Festival is a reflection of the city itself — diverse, witty, and full of personality.
Whether you’re into clever observational humour, improv that spirals into beautiful chaos, or stand-up that hits a little too close to home, there’s something for every type of comedy lover. If you haven’t booked your tickets yet, now’s the time.
