Repossi’s BLAST Makes You Rethink What Jewellery Can Be

Repossi just brought back BLAST—and it’s louder, bolder, and shinier than ever. First launched in 2018, the collection returns this season with even more drama, wrapping gold and diamonds around the body like it’s no big deal.

This is the opposite of quiet luxury. It’s not trying to be minimal. It’s sculptural and intense. It’s made to stand out.

Every piece looks like it was designed to live in a museum but somehow still works with a white tank and vintage jeans. Think: oversized cuffs, hypnotic spiral rings, chunky chokers, and a plastron necklace that took over 250 hours to make—set with 700+ diamonds and still wearable. Even the rings manage to feel part-jewellery, part-artefact, in the best way possible.

Gaia Repossi, the brand’s creative director, knows exactly what she’s doing. The collection plays with references—Japanese design, tribal jewellery, ’80s glam—but never feels like a copy. It’s more like a remix. A very expensive, very refined remix that doesn’t care about trends and still somehow hits every one of them.

And while some pieces lean full maximalist, others (like the lariat pendant or the more understated earrings) still deliver that signature Repossi mood without screaming for attention. It’s a balance that somehow works—bold but wearable, sculptural but soft.

BLAST feels like jewellery that was made for now. For people who don’t want to wear what everyone else is wearing. For those who want their accessories to say something without needing to explain it.
