Six Saudi Creatives Star in Gap Middle East's New Series

Gap Middle East has launched a series of portraits and films featuring six Saudi creatives, live on @gapmiddleeast, gap.ae, gap.sa and gap.com.kw. The line-up covers art, film, skate, music and fashion: multidisciplinary artist Nouf Alhimiary, skateboarder and Sandlifers co-founder Rakan Ghaith, filmmaker Razan Alsoghayer, Jeddah-based producer and singer duo Sweam & O.DEE and rising model Zahra Hussain.

The creative was directed by Chndy, a multidisciplinary image-maker who works across photography, film and creative direction. Styling was by Ali Ammar, whose editorial approach brings a contemporary fashion perspective to each talent's individual look. Together, they give a set of very different people a shared visual language without flattening what makes each of them distinct.

The series is told through portraits and films that give each talent space to share their perspective on originality and self-expression. Rather than a studio set-up, each is captured within the environments, routines and creative practices that make up their everyday lives, so the stories show how each person approaches their craft and expresses their individual style.

The series builds on Gap's longstanding celebration of individuality and creative expression, following the brand's global Fall 2026 “Denim on Your Own” campaign. It works as a regional expression of that wider creative platform, centred on the people and perspectives shaping culture today. Choosing to tell that story through Saudi voices, from a skater and a filmmaker to a music duo and an artist, is a clear signal of where Gap Middle East wants its creative energy to sit.

Gap Inc announced a partnership with Chalhoub Group in August to bring Gap to the GCC, with online launches in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait planned for the second half of 2026 and stores following in 2027.
