Platinum Dresses the New Arsenale by Venezianico
Venezianico introduces the Arsenale Platino, a new timepiece crafted with one of the world’s rarest and most enduring materials. Platinum, known for its density, resistance to tarnish, and rich silvery-white finish, brings a heightened sense of refinement to the brand’s signature Arsenale model.
Designed as a tribute to the industrial legacy of Venice, the Arsenale Platino channels the spirit of the Venetian shipyard that once powered La Serenissima. Its 40 mm 316L steel case is slim at 9.95 mm and features a mix of brushed and polished finishes, creating contrast and depth. The Canova Concept™ bracelet, integrated seamlessly into the case, enhances wearability while balancing structure and movement through alternating satin and mirror-polished links.
The dial, developed by Venetian artisans, is built from soleil-finished brass and undergoes a platinum galvanic treatment after controlled tumbling. The result is a textured, almost organic surface that makes each piece subtly unique. The knurled bezel recalls the engraved motifs found on the entrance towers of the historic Arsenale, grounding the design further in its place of inspiration.
Dauphine hands with BGW9 Swiss Super-LumiNova® provide clarity in low light and add a traditional horological touch. Inside, the Swiss automatic caliber V3250, based on Soprod M100, is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 42-hour power reserve, each movement is assembled and regulated in-house by master watchmaker Daniele Zorzetto at the San Donà di Piave atelier.
