Coach Launches Soho Sneaker Campaign
Coach has officially launched Not Just For Walking, a new campaign spotlighting the recently introduced Soho Sneaker. The campaign brings together a diverse cast—singer and rapper Audrey Nuna, model Giovanna Ramos, college basketball player Tahaad Pettiford, WNBA player Satou Sabally, and NASCAR driver Toni Breidinger—each using the sneaker in unconventional ways to reflect their personalities and lifestyles.
Directed by Colin Tilley, the campaign film moves away from the traditional sneaker narrative. Instead of focusing on status or exclusivity, it centres on versatility and self-expression. Whether Nuna is using hers to prop open a backstage door or Pettiford spins his like a basketball, each scenario is playful and rooted in real-life spontaneity. Photographer Chris Maggio captures these moments in a series of bold, stylised stills.
The campaign echoes Coach’s ongoing message of encouraging individuality, aligning with its brand ethos The Courage to Be Real. The featured cast spans music, sport, and fashion, chosen for their connection to sneaker culture and how they use style to articulate identity.
The Soho Sneaker itself was first revealed on the Coach Spring 2025 runway. Inspired by late ‘80s and early ‘90s cross-trainers, it’s a throwback silhouette modernised through Coach’s contemporary design lens. Its name nods to New York City’s Soho district—a neighbourhood long associated with artistic energy and cultural convergence.
With Not Just For Walking, Coach positions the Soho Sneaker as a tool for navigating and expressing a multifaceted life.
